Prep is quick and then the air fryer does the hard work in 30 minutes resulting in delicious crispy wings that are then covered in a full of flavour spicy sauce. They're best eaten fresh, but will keep for up to 2 days in the fridge and can be reheated in the air fryer for 3 to 5 minutes, for crispness.
Tips
- Sauce - change out piri piri sauce for hot sauce (I like Frank's RedHot Wings Buffalo Sauce) to make buffalo wings instead!
- Baking powder makes the chicken skin blister and air frying makes them lovely and crispy on the outside, and tender on the inside!
- This easy air fryer piri piri chicken wings recipe is easily adapted if you're cooking for less or more people.
