- 100 g (½ cup) light mayonnaise (I like Heinz)
- 100 g (½ cup) soured cream
- 3 tbsp white wine vinegar
- 0.5 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 0.5 tsp dried dill
- 0.5 tsp dried parsley
- salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
Use a whisk to combine all the ingredients in a mixing bowl, then transfer the dressing to an airtight container. For best results, make ahead (2 to 4 hours) and keep it in the fridge before transferring to a serving dish.
- Optional variations:
- Spicy ranch dressing – add a sprinkle of chilli flakes.
- Greek yogurt ranch – swap the soured cream for Greek yogurt.
- Buttermilk ranch – swap the soured cream for buttermilk,
- This ranch dressing recipe is easily adapted if you’re cooking for less or more people.
