This sweet potato wedges recipe from the June Asda magazine was served along with their big bite burger.   Try them as a snack on their own or as a side with any of our burgers and sandwiches.

The smoky paprika seasoning balances well with the sweetness of the potatoes... they're very moreish!!

Tip

  • This sweet potato wedges recipe can easily be adapted if you’re cooking for less or more people.

How to make these Sweet Potato Wedges

Ingredients

  • 2 large or 650g sweet potatoes, cut into 2cm thick wedges
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • a pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 200C/180C fan/gas 6. 
  2. Put the sweet potatoes into a large bowl, drizzle with oil then add the paprika and salt and toss together to combine well.  
  3. Transfer the seasoned wedges to a baking tray and spread out in a single layer.   Bake for 30 to 35 minutes until golden and crisp, turning halfway through.
