Here's our simple burger sauce recipe that uses ingredients that are always in our fridge/cupboard!

It has the perfect balance of creamy, sweet, tart and heat and goes very well with your favourite burgers.

Tip

  • This simple burger sauce recipe is easily adapted if you’re making it for less or more people.

How to make this Simple Burger Sauce

Ingredients

  • 45g mayonnaise (Heinz light is my favourite!)
  • 15g tomato ketchup
  • 15g American mustard
  • 30g gherkins, finely chopped, plus 1 tsp of brine from the jar
  • a couple of shakes of Tabasco sauce
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Mix the ingredients together in a small bowl and leave to sit at room temperature until you’re ready to use it.
